Ideas for an icon of Saint Benedict of Nursia:
Here are two examples of icons of Benedict that we have found on the web. (It is not one we have done before.)
No. 2 shows the attributes of the raven carrying the broken cup, the Rules, a staff, and a shrub / bush (could you explain what the shrub symbolizes?)
No. 1 shows only a scroll in his hand.

Whichever kind of design you choose, we would paint the icon in the quality and style of our usual method, two examples are shown below as an indication:

Please let us know what design and attributes you would like. A figure shown from the waist upwards necessarily means that the head becomes quite small, and is in danger of losing its iconic quality, if the entire icon is very small. We would therefore suggest an icon about 16 inches tall, but it could be smaller if needs must.
We would normally charge £300.00 for an icon of this size and complexity, but if it is for display in a church or other public place, we would accept whatever could be afforded (provided we could cover our costs of materials / postage etc.)
